The Tania Dalton Foundation was created in honour of the sporting legend whose presence would fill any room, established to make a meaningful impact on the lives of budding young New Zealanders.
We were tasked by TDF to create an engaging performance to kickstart their 2021 Gala Dinner, something that would land the moment guests walked in. A team of string players, led by North Shore-based musician and composer Matt Bear, delivered exactly that.
The set opened with the elegance of Pachelbel's Canon before transitioning, without warning, into a fiery rendition of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck", a turn that brought the room to life and set the tone for the night.
