The role
This is a unique opportunity for a young leader to grow, learn and lead in an impact-driven and holistically supportive youth-led organisation.
In close collaboration with the YANZ team and community, you'll learn, contribute, and co-develop strategies that shape the future of YANZ. The role is designed to give you a comprehensive learning experience, co-designed mentorship, and an intimate understanding of YANZ's values, operations and ethos, so no formal or traditional prior management experience is necessary.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland (or willing to relocate) who has worked alongside teams, communities or other groups (including rangatahi) to create positive change. That might be through:
- Volunteering or community kaupapa
- Past employment or education
- Supporting whānau
We're open to how you define "leadership". This might be your first CEO or management position, and that's totally okay.
