Kiran is a third culture kid, born in Whangārei, brought up in the Netherlands at an international American school, and ancestrally Indian. He is deeply passionate about the arts and their power to help people discover themselves, move and inspire others, and make a difference.
He ran the youth social enterprise Young Innovators Collective for five years and has run the creative space and hub MoveSpace for the last eight. These days most of his time goes into a passion film project, Humans Are Awesome. He lives on the fringe of the Waitākere Ranges, surrounded by trees and birds, and loves coming into town for music, theatre and art shows.
